They all have timers, and if yours doesn't, you can buy one. All you have to do is make a little foil tent to put over the top of it for the first couple of hours so the top doesn't overcook (remove it for the last hour or so), and before you put it in, rub it with a mixture of melted butter, salt, and whatever herbs you like.
