Let cool while you prepare remaining ingreds. Mix dry ingreds in a very large bowl. Warm oil slightly and add vanilla. Pour warm syrup and oil over dry ingreds and mix well. Pour onto 2 cookie sheets and bake in 200 degree oven, stirring occasionally for 2 hours until dry. My all time fave is home-made granola.
